She joins us to talk about gene editing, mind uploading, restorative technologies such as cochlear implants, and stem cell research. What questions are raised when we use technology to pursue a longer, more perfect life?
Dr. Trothen is an author and faculty member at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario. She will be the keynote speaker at the Ruth Frost Parker Center’s Fall Symposium on September 30th.
